What is Listing on YSX's Main Board ?
- Listing refers to the process through which a company's shares are officially approved and made available for trading on the Yangon Stock Exchange (YSX) Main Board.
- Main Board (MB) is a market board of YSX which was designed for trading listed stocks of companies, known as “Listed Companies”.
- To be listed on the Yangon Stock Exchange (YSX) Main Board, a company must satisfy (17) listing criteria and receive listing approval after successfully passing an examination conducted by YSX. This examination is carried out in accordance with the Securities Listing Business Regulations and the Enforcement Regulations for Securities Listing Business Regulation.
- Listing offers a company a public platform for buying and selling shares, increasing liquidity and providing access to a broader pool of potential investors. This allows the company to raise capital for expansion, research and development, or other business needs.
- Listing also enhances a company's profile and reputation, boosting its visibility to potential customers, partners, and investors.
